About Whisone

5 questions

Whisone is a market signal platform for founders. We continuously aggregate high-engagement discussions from across the web — Reddit, Product Hunt, IndieHackers, and more — and structure them into clear demand signals. Instead of manually browsing forums to guess what people want, you see what they're already asking for. You can then validate your idea against those signals and receive a structured report: demand scores, competitor landscape, risk flags, pricing fit, and a 30-day action plan.

Whisone is for anyone who wants to build something people actually want — before spending months and savings on it. That includes first-time founders, side-hustlers validating an idea while working full-time, experienced builders launching a new product, and small teams who need a fast read on whether a market exists. We work for SaaS, physical products, e-commerce, service businesses, content brands, and everything in between.

Manual research is inconsistent, time-consuming, and biased by what you happen to find. Whisone indexes thousands of discussions continuously, filters by engagement velocity and problem specificity, and clusters related signals into structured themes. What you see isn't a random forum scroll — it's ranked, filtered market intent. You also get a validation report on top of the signal data, which would take a consultant days to compile.

Signal feeds update continuously — you can browse live demand data the moment you log in. If you submit an idea for full validation, your report is ready in 90 seconds. No waiting. No queue.

Every report includes: demand score (quantified signal strength), market size estimate, competitor landscape with gap analysis, risk assessment with severity flags, pricing fit analysis, MVP feature recommendations, and a 30-day customer testing plan. Growth and Pro subscribers get PDF export and the ability to save signals to a personal library.

How Signals Work

5 questions

A signal is a structured insight extracted from a high-engagement discussion online. When someone posts "I'd pay for a tool that does X" and 2,000 people upvote it, that's a demand signal. Whisone collects those moments, filters out noise, scores them by engagement velocity and recurrence, and surfaces them as clean, actionable data points — each with source, vote count, trend direction, and related signals.

We index discussions from Reddit (across hundreds of relevant subreddits), Product Hunt, IndieHackers, Hacker News, and select niche communities. We're continuously adding more sources. Growth and Pro subscribers get access to all indexed sources; Starter plan users see signals from one source.

Signals are updated continuously. Trending discussions surface within hours of gaining traction. Growth plan subscribers get faster update cadence than Starter. Pro subscribers get priority updates — the earliest possible view of rising demand before it peaks.

Signals represent real, public market intent — not predictions or projections. When thousands of people express the same frustration independently, that's as close to ground truth as pre-product validation gets. That said, signals are one input, not a guarantee. We always recommend combining signal data with direct customer conversations and lightweight experiments.

Yes — Growth and Pro subscribers can save signals to a personal library and track them over time. This lets you monitor whether a trend is growing or fading, and build a curated view of the opportunity landscape you're watching.

Plans & Pricing

5 questions

There are three plans. Starter (free) gives you limited signals per day from one source — enough to experience the product. Growth ($19/month) is the main plan: full signal access across all sources, advanced filtering, save & track signals, weekly trend summaries, CSV/Notion export, and faster updates. Pro ($39/month) adds priority signal updates, extended historical data, API access (coming soon), 2–3 team seats, and early feature access.

Start with Starter (free) to see how signals work. Most founders upgrade to Growth within a few days once they see the signal volume they're missing. Growth is the plan we built Whisone around — it gives you everything needed to validate an idea, track demand trends, and export insights. Pro is for teams or power users who want the deepest possible data access.

Yes, always. Cancel from your dashboard settings at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees, no forms to fill in.

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on Growth and Pro plans. If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days, email support@whisone.com and we'll refund you in full. After 7 days, no partial refunds, but you can cancel any time going forward.

Pro subscribers get 2–3 team seats included. If you need more seats than that, contact us at team@whisone.com and we'll sort something out. Sharing login credentials on other plans isn't permitted under our Terms of Service.

Privacy & Security

Completely. Your validation submissions and saved signals are visible only to you through your authenticated account. We never share your ideas with third parties, never use them in our own ventures, and never display them publicly. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

The signals themselves are sourced from public discussions — they're not private content. What's private is your interaction with them: what you save, what you validate, what your reports contain. None of that is visible to other users or shared externally.

All user data is stored on encrypted AWS infrastructure. We use AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We follow SOC 2 practices and don't sell your data to anyone, ever.

Yes. Delete your account from settings and all your data — reports, saved signals, personal information — is permanently removed within 30 days. We retain only anonymized, aggregated platform analytics (e.g. total validations run) that contain no personally identifiable information.

Yes, fully. Using Whisone doesn't transfer any intellectual property rights to us. We only hold a limited license to process your submissions in order to generate your validation report. See our Terms of Service for the complete picture.

Account & Support

Starter users: email support@whisone.com (48-hour response). Growth users: priority email support with 24-hour response. Pro users: priority support with fastest response times. We're working on live chat — coming soon.

Our analysis is based on available signal data and structured frameworks — it's not infallible. If you think we missed important context, resubmit with a more detailed description, or contact support if you're on Growth or Pro and want a human review. Signals are one input; your domain expertise matters too.

Growth and Pro subscribers can export reports as PDF and share them with co-founders, advisors, or investors. Starter users can view reports online but cannot export.

Everything is in your account settings — email, password, billing info, and plan management. Billing changes take effect on your next cycle.

API access is on the roadmap and will be available to Pro subscribers first. If you have a specific integration need, email us at api@whisone.com — we're gathering feedback to shape what we build.
