The company also provides aviation, boiler, builder’s liability, burglary, contractors all risks, director and officers liability, employers liability, fidelity guarantee, fire and special perils, general accident–automobile contingent liability, group personal accident, marine, money, motor, professional indemnity, and public liability insurance products for corporate clients. In addition, it offers health and asset management, and hospitality services. The company was formerly known as Equity Assurance Plc. The company was incorporated in 1984 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Sunu Assurances Nigeria Plc operates as a subsidiary of Sunu Participations Holding S.A.
