Sterling Financial Holdings Company Plc provides various commercial banking products and services primarily to multinational companies, financial institutions, individuals, small businesses, partnerships, and commercial entities in Nigeria. It operates through Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Institutional Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Non-Interest Banking, and Special Purpose Vehicle segments. The company offers savings and current accounts; investment products; personal loans; cards; e-channels; business accounts, loan products, business advisory and business digital solutions for SMEs; credit services to large scale enterprises; recurring, discounted certificate, fixed, and call deposits; and importers financing, invoice discount facility, letter of credit, and overdraft services. The company offers retail and consumer banking, and trade services; corporate, investment, non-interest banking and asset management services; and wholesale banking services comprising the granting of loans and advances, letter of credit transactions, money market operations, electronic and mobile banking products, and other banking activities, as well as issues debt securities to borrow funds and solutions, and guided by Islamic economics. It operates a network of branches and cash centers. Sterling Financial Holdings Company Plc was founded in 1960 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
