AIICO Insurance Plc provides risk underwriting and related financial services in Nigeria. It operates through Life Insurance, General Business, Health Management, and Asset Management segments. The life insurance segment offers whole life, term assurance, guaranteed pensions, endowment pensions, mortgage endowment, savings, and protection products, as well as other long-term contracts. The General Business segment provides auto, household, commercial, and business interruption insurance; and general insurance to individuals and businesses. The Health Management segment offers prepaid health plans to cater for the health needs of individuals and corporate organizations. The Asset Management segments offers portfolio management services, structured investments, and mutual funds for corporate and individual clients. In addition, the company offers annuity, property, marine, fire, personal accident, home, and travel insurance, as well as marine, manufacturing, agricultural, and oil and gas insurance; and various risk plans. It markets its products through insurance brokers and agents. The company was founded in 1963 and is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
